Officially shutting myself from humanity

Theoretical Problem RANTY problem:

You buzz on some one’s door in the corridor from the outer door. You can’t go knock on the door since it’s a corridor and only residents of that corridor can do in with the keycard. You buzz THREE times. He or she don’t answer.

You lurk around the doorway, writing a note or something equally lame.

THEN HE OR SHE’S DOOR OPENS, AND HE OR SHE LOOKS AT YOUR FROM DOWN THE HALL.

He or she then closes the door and goes back inside.

DO YOU BUZZ AGAIN OR GET THE HINT AND LEAVE?

IN summary, this just happened and now I am too agitated to keep working on my thesis. Why are people so horrible? Honestly.
